A toolset is a collection of related tools that provides the context for their operation.
Tools can extend the capabilities of LLMs (Language Learning Models), such as performing web searches, scientific calculations, or generating images, thereby enhancing the LLM's ability to connect with the external world. Xpert provides two types of tools: Builtin Toolsets and Custom Toolsets.
The Toolset functionality allows the AI model to interact with the external world through function-based tool calls. The AI model can be likened to a human brain, while the Toolset acts like the body’s organs, enabling it to perform practical tasks. With the Toolset, the AI model can autonomously operate various digital systems, from data analysis to information retrieval, making it more efficient and flexible in handling complex tasks. This integration empowers AI to play a greater role in the digital world, enhancing user experience and productivity.
