We are excited to announce the official release of version 2.7 GitHub of the Metad Analytics Platform! This version introduces four exciting new features aimed at further enhancing user interactions and data analysis experiences. These new features include a brand-new Digital Expert role, a flexible and efficient Knowledge Base system, a powerful Toolsets, and support for Multi-Bots of Feishu in ChatBI. This article will detail how these new features can help you manage data more intelligently and improve work efficiency.

1. Digital Expert: Your Intelligent Assistant

The Metad Analytics Platform 2.7 introduces the Digital Expert feature, which consists of virtual intelligent assistants designed for various fields. Digital Experts possess specific expertise to help you answer questions, perform tasks, and provide accurate business support. Whether it’s data analysis, market research, or financial report generation, Digital Experts can provide personalized services based on your needs.

Each Digital Expert can access designated Knowledge Bases, invoke Toolsets, and participate in task collaboration. In practice, users can select the appropriate expert based on task requirements and interact with them using natural language. In the future, Digital Experts will also support team collaboration modes, allowing multiple experts to work together to complete complex tasks.

Main Features of Digital Experts:

  • Intelligent Conversation: Interact with users in natural language to quickly obtain the information needed.
  • Personalized Configuration: Each Digital Expert has specific areas of expertise and tool permissions, allowing for targeted solutions.
  • Task Collaboration (in development): Supports future digital team features where complex tasks can be broken down and completed by multiple experts.

2. Knowledge Base: Intelligent Information Management and Retrieval

To better manage private knowledge information, the Metad Analytics Platform 2.7 adds the Knowledge Base feature. The new Knowledge Base system allows users to upload various document formats (such as PDF, Markdown, EPUB, DOCX) and automatically parse them into retrievable text blocks. Users can customize the document parsing method according to parameters such as block size and overlap to ensure the information is organized according to actual needs.

During conversations, Digital Experts can call information from the Knowledge Base, quickly responding to user queries based on embedding technology and similarity thresholds. Users can also manage Knowledge Bases with different access permissions, such as setting private, organization-shared, or public access.

Main Features of the Knowledge Base:

  • Document Parsing: Supports uploading and parsing multiple file formats, allowing for customizable parsing parameters as needed.
  • Intelligent Retrieval: Quickly retrieves and returns the most relevant information based on similarity algorithms.
  • Permission Control: Supports three types of access permissions: private, organization-internal, and public, ensuring information security and shareability.

3. Toolset: Enhanced AI Operational Capabilities

Another significant upgrade in the Metad Analytics Platform 2.7 is the Toolset feature. The Toolset empowers Digital Experts to perform complex tasks such as data querying, analysis, and external information retrieval. The Toolset can be seen as the "sensory limbs" of Digital Experts, allowing them to complete tasks by invoking different tools. If the Digital Expert is the brain, the Toolset is their ability to interact with the external world in the digital space.

Currently, the Toolset is divided into two categories: Built-in Toolset and Custom Toolset. The built-in Toolset includes data analysis tools (such as ChatBI, ChatDB) and online search tools (such as DuckDuckGo, Wikipedia). The Custom Toolset feature is under development, allowing users to define exclusive tools as needed, further expanding the experts’ capabilities.

  • Built-in Tools: Includes online search and data analysis tools to help users quickly acquire and process information.
  • Custom Tools (in development): Users will be able to create their own Toolsets, enhancing the execution capabilities of Digital Experts.
  • Tool Parameter Configuration: Supports setting default parameters for different tools to optimize task execution efficiency.

4. ChatBI Multi-Bots of Feishu: Expanding Enterprise Intelligent Data Analysis

In version 2.7 of the Metad Analytics Platform, the Multi-Bots of Feishu feature of ChatBI is a significant upgrade designed to enhance internal communication and data analysis efficiency within enterprises. This feature allows businesses to construct multiple Feishu bots for different operations or departments, with each bot seamlessly integrating with ChatBI to provide real-time intelligent data analysis support. Whether it's financial data analysis, market trend insights, or data queries in business operations, ChatBI Multi-Bots of Feishu can provide precise data answers for enterprises.

5. Support for Major AI Providers

In version 2.7 of the Metad Analytics Platform, we further expanded support for major AI providers, ensuring that users can flexibly choose and integrate the AI models that best suit their business needs. Whether it is natural language processing, data analysis, or intelligent generation, the various AI providers supported by the platform offer users a wider range of choices for achieving more efficient and intelligent business operations.
